Our apologies for the ongoing delay in opening reservations for 2024. We are still upgrading our reservation software for this season. Reservations for 2024 are expected to open on Thursday April 18th 2024.

If you have trouble booking online or have a special request, please call or email us. Please note we will not have a full time reservations specialist answering the phone until Mid May, but will return your calls and emails as quickly as we can.

Rental Policy

Renter must be 21 years of age or older with a valid Driver’s License.

A Boat Rental Agreement will be completed at Check-In.

The person providing the Security Deposit must be the one to sign the Boat Rental Agreement.

Rentals do not include gasoline or sales tax.  Boats come fully fueled. You pay for the gasoline you use.

Full rental fee and Security Deposit required at check-in.

All boats must remain on Glen Lake and are not to be transported to other lakes.

Boats rented weekly or overnight must be returned by sundown, or be kept on a  secure mooring that has been approved by owners of On the Narrows Marina.

If the reserved equipment is unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances at the time of your rental reservation, we reserve the right to offer you substitute equipment of equal or greater value. If no alternate equipment is available, we will reschedule or cancel your reservation.

No Refunds for rentals returned early.

SECURITY DEPOSIT
A $500 Security Deposit is required for all boat rentals at time of Check-In.

Security Deposits are separate from rental fees.

Security Deposits may be Cash or pre-authorized Credit Card.

Cancellation, Weather, and Rebooking Policy 

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

  1. Full Refund Option (Up to 7 Days Before Reservation): Customers are eligible for a 100% refund if the cancellation is made up to 7 days prior to the start of the contracted reservation date less a 10% processing fee. Alternatively, customers may choose to rebook their reservation for the same season and year, subject to availability, at no additional rebooking charge.

  2. Cancellation within 7 Days of Reservation: If a cancellation occurs within 7 days or less prior to the reservation date, customers will forfeit their reservation deposit/payment without a refund unless Trip Protection was purchased at the time of original reservation booking.

Trip Protection:

Purchasing this protection allows you to cancel or change your booking up to 24 hours before your departure without loss of your deposit, for any reason, less the amount of the Trip Protection. No fee’s, no hassle. No questions.

  • Select the Trip Protection option where you see the accessories (like ski’s or tubes).

  • The fee will be calculated and added to your booking total at checkout.

  • To initiate a cancellation or rebooking request, an email must be sent to rentals@narrows-marina.com. The timestamp of the received email will be considered as the official time and date for the cancellation or rebooking request.

  • We encourage a follow-up phone call or email to 231-334-4891 for further confirmation. However, please note that only the email request will be considered a valid form of communication for the purpose of cancellation or rebooking.

  • Within 24 hrs of your departure, no changes, refunds or cancellations can be made.  

Additional Notes on Cancellation:

  • In the event of a no-show or failure to commence the reservation as scheduled, there will be a 100% forfeiture of any funds received. This scenario is not eligible for rebooking.

Communication Requirements for Cancellations and Rebooking:

  • To initiate a cancellation or rebooking request, an email must be sent to rentals@glencraft.com. The timestamp of the received email will be considered as the official time and date for the cancellation or rebooking request.

WEATHER POLICY
If it is raining in the early morning, the weather often clears by 10am.  Check the overall day forecast, before making the decision to cancel your reservation.

Day of Rental – Full refunds will only be given if it is a non-boatable day, meaning it is unsafe to boat due to lightning, pouring rain, or extremely rough water.  Cloudy days, chilly days and light rain/drizzle are boatable days.

ANY EXCEPTIONS to the above policies are at the sole discretion of Glen Craft Marina.
